With Superheroes, The Golden Years Aren’t So Golden….

Gregg Segal is a photographer with a keen eye. Check out his pictures of superheroes when they’ve let themselves go. His peeing on my childhood is quite funny. My favorite is Captain America checking his mail….I like to imagine he’s finding a mix of collection notices from creditors and rejection letters from various publishing houses. Nobody wants to read Captain America’s memoirs….(sighs) Make sure you check out his collection of pirate photos, also. When there’s no pillaging to be done, a pirate has to look outside his trade for work.

I know, I know….lots of Batman content lately, but hey, this is pretty funny for being shot on a shoestring budget.

Michigan “Joker” arrested for stealing Batman memorabilia. Police find nothing in his pockets but knives and lint.

Meet 20 yr. old Spencer Taylor of Three Rivers, Michigan. Apparently, young Spencer was so enthralled with the latest Batman film he decided to steal some of the film’s memorabilia from a local movie theater. He was dressed in character as the Joker when he tried to liberate the Batman posters and displays. Based on the mugshot above, you can tell he wasn’t too successful. Police took his mugshot with Spencer still in character with face paint, and they made him wash it off and took it in character as a comic super fan. He was arrested and booked on charges of felony larceny and malicious destruction of property charges.

Funny or Die is hosting an exclusive deleted scene from Batman-Dark Knight.  I can’t imagine why this didn’t make it.  Let’s just hope Christopher Nolan gets to release a director’s cut.
