Ahhh! This so reminds me of my year living in Central America. It wasn’t quite this bad as they had better-engineered traffic circles, but nonetheless…One of the key rules to surviving in this type of environment is to take what you can get as soon as possible. If you don’t, you’re screwed. Courtesy doesn’t exist. You just let people know what you’re doing (with horn, arm or other signaling device) and then do it before they can cut you off.
