Barack Obama victim of nation’s continued racism after receiving the worst job in the country.

Black man given nation’s worst job

WASHINGTON—African-American man Barack Obama, 47, was given the least-desirable job in the entire country Tuesday when he was elected president of the United States of America. In his new high-stress, low-reward position, Obama will be charged with such tasks as completely overhauling the nation’s broken-down economy, repairing the crumbling infrastructure, and generally having to please more than 300 million Americans and cater to their every whim on a daily basis. As part of his duties, the black man will have to spend four to eight years cleaning up the messes other people left behind. The job comes with such intense scrutiny and so certain a guarantee of failure that only one other person even bothered applying for it. Said scholar and activist Mark L. Denton, “It just goes to show you that, in this country, a black man still can’t catch a break.”

Riviera Beach Police Having Arrested Every Violent Offender in City, Move On To Arresting Men Whose Pants Sag

September 12, 2008

Just kidding, I’m sure there’s probably several violent offenders with arrest warrants roaming Riviera Beach. But, dear residents, fear not, for your police department is protecting you from anyone that is showing between 2 to 5 inches of their underwear by sagging their pants. This very necessary ordinance was passed after several recent drive-by boxer showings that resulted in the deaths of 7 people. Those poor victims’ memory will be honored by Riviera Beach’s finest getting those dangerous pairs of underwear off the streets.

So far, 11 people have been arrested, and charged with a misdemeanor and face fines of up to $150.00. Repeat offenders could face up to 30 days in jail. Yes, this is your tax dollars at work. That’s some fine police work, Lou…….

I shouldn’t be too harsh on the police, they don’t make these asinine laws, but they will be the ones who will certainly face an even more hostile community as a result of enforcing the ordinance. Guess which racial group this law has affected the most so far? The collected mugshots of 8 of the 11 arrested men are shown below. What’s that ringing sound? I think it’s the ACLU.

Spanish Tennis Team Also Photographed Posing with Slant-Eyed Gesture. Spanish Basketball Team Wants Credit for Starting the Trend.

August 14, 2008

Spain, in its continued quest to show the world how collectively insensitive it is, provided another example courtesy of their Olympic tennis team. Not to be outdone by the Spanish National basketball team the national tennis team is vying for Dumb Jocks of the Year award. The picture below was taken in February after the Spanish women’s team defeated Italy in the Federation Cup. Next up for the women’s team was the Chinese team in April. The picture below is still featured on the Spanish Tennis Federation’s website with the caption as of 8/14/08. The picture is still available here and amongst other Spanish team photos here. The caption below the picture reads:

“Estamos preparados para China”, which translates as “We are prepared for China”.

Spanish National Basketball makes a gesture that could dampen the Chinese collective goodwill

August 11, 2008

The Spanish National basketball team, pictured above, seems to be going out of its way to offend the host nation of this year’s Summer Olympics.  The team appears to be making a slanted-eye gesture in an advertisement that just ran in a Spanish paper.  What do you think?  Even if it wasn’t an overtly deliberate racist gesture, it doesn’t say much for the common sense of the team or pretty much anyone associated with Spanish basketball.  Was there not even 1 person who might’ve said, “Hmmm…uh, guys, I’m probably TOTALLY overreacting here, but this might, and I’m just saying *might*, be considered just a touch insensitive.  Maybe? ”

Dallas County officials spar over ‘black hole’ comment

A special meeting about Dallas County traffic tickets turned tense and bizarre this afternoon.

County commissioners were discussing problems with the central collections office that is used to process traffic ticket payments and handle other paperwork normally done by the JP Courts.

Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said it seemed that central collections “has become a black hole” because paperwork reportedly has become lost in the office.

Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud “Excuse me!” He then corrected his colleague, saying the office has become a “white hole.”

That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy.

Mayfield shot back that it was a figure of speech and a science term. A black hole, according to Webster’s, is perhaps “the invisible remains of a collapsed star, with an intense gravitational field from which neither light nor matter can escape.”

Other county officials quickly interceded to break it up and get the meeting back on track. TV news cameras were rolling, after all.

Check out a video interview of Dallas Commissioner John Wiley Price defending his comments and elaborating on other common terms that are apparently racist. Just beautiful.

Kalamazoo, Michigan (U.S.) police officer smashes handcuffed suspect’s head into wall, knocks out 3 of suspect’s teeth. Consequence: a 10-day suspension.

June 20, 2008

Kalamazoo police officer Derek Nugent slammed a 16 yr. old suspect’s face into a wall at a police station, resulting in 3 of the boy’s teeth breaking. The suspect’s hands were handcuffed behind him, so he was not a physical threat to the officer. The officer received a whooping 10-day suspension. The suspect, an african-american 16 yr. old boy, has a history of criminal problems. Apparently, those 2 factors are enough to let the officer off with a slap on the wrist. Quite disgusting. Even more disgusting is the following “explanation” that continues to enable police abuse like this.

No one is justifying what Officer Nugent did, but the Kalamazoo County prosecutor confirms the teen has a long list of run ins with the law, including assault and battery and arson.

Well, hell, that makes everything ok, then, right? Imagine if there had been no video…..or imagine if this kid was from a white, middle-class family? A whole different story then…

Chicago woman awarded $7.7 million for false arrest

June 14, 2008

A trained nurse, Rachelle Jackson immediately ran toward the sound of the crash. A Chicago police car had collided with another vehicle and was starting to smoke, two officers still inside. Fearing an explosion, she quickly pulled one officer from the passenger side. She never imagined her act of kindness nearly six years ago would land her in jail for more than 10 months on charges that she robbed, battered and disarmed a peace officer.

Jackson filed a lawsuit, and on Thursday a federal jury found against the city and several Chicago police officers, awarding Jackson $7.7 million for false arrest, malicious prosecution, coercive questioning and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

“I’m going to go home and lie down for a little bit,” an ecstatic Jackson, 41, said after the verdict. “I feel relieved. I’m happy, and I’m thanking God.”

The case began in November 2002, when a car ran a stop sign in Jackson’s neighborhood, slamming into the squad car. Jackson was walking nearby and rushed to the scene. When she arrived, the officer behind the wheel was unconscious and the passenger, Officer Kelly Brogan, was dazed.

She pulled Brogan from the wreckage and helped her to a nearby stoop. Soon after, police approached Jackson and told her that the driver’s weapon had been stolen. When she was asked to go to the police station for questioning, she thought it was as a witness to the accident.

Instead, Jackson was accused of the theft. She was held for two days with little food and water and was threatened with violence until she agreed to sign a statement police had prepared for her. She was then charged and spent more than 10 months in the Cook County Jail awaiting trial.

Her case was later thrown out by a Circuit Court judge. Jackson sued the city, Brogan and the two interrogation officers in 2003.

Defense attorney Andrew Hale said the amount the jury awarded Jackson was “excessive” and that he would file post-trial motions to have the amount reduced.

He also questioned Jackson’s intentions when she pulled the officer from the car.

“The officer said [Jackson] came at her, tried to get her gun and put her in a full-Nelson hold,” Hale said. “I’m disappointed the jury could think that would be a legitimate rescue technique.”

But Jackson’s attorneys said it was clear she was trying to help the officer, not harm her.

“This was an innocent woman who saved a police officer from a burning car,” said Chris Smith, who tried the case with Dan Alexander. “There were many heroes out there who helped the police, but they all turned into suspects because some guy ran away with the gun.”

Spike Lee vs. Clint Eastwood, Round 3

June 9, 2008

So Spike Lee, director and professional whiner, responded to Eastwood’s interview in which Eastwood said Lee should “shut his face.”

Naturally, Lee plays the race card, a common tactic of a schmuck, a talented schmuck, but a schmuck nonetheless.

In responding to Eastwood’s Guardian interview, he said: “First of all, the man is not my father and we’re not on a plantation either. He’s a great director. He makes his films, I make my films … And a comment like ‘A guy like that should shut his face’ – come on Clint, come on. He sounds like an angry old man right there.”

Spike’s answer almost follows a politician’s textbook….well, a race-baiting politician. Throw out a line like, “we’re not on a plantation” to subtly further inject the notion that Eastwood is a racist, but then compliment him at the same time for being a “great director,” and close out the quote by saying Eastwood sounds like “an angry old man right there.”

He probably is angry, and rightly so. Lee has repeatedly insulted him, and his craft, and that would anger most people. Plus, Eastwood’s a veteran of Hollywood with a long and successful career, so to be insulted by a little punk like Lee, who is the real angry one here, would be a bit annoying. Read the rest of the whining by Lee.

Don’t forget now, Lee is a big fan of Nation of Islam leader, and outspoken racist and Jew-hater, Lewis Farrakhan. For just a smattering of Lee’s racism and anti-antisemitism, click here.

Oh, also, here’s Spike Lee asserting that the levees in New Orleans were actually blown up, a charge originally made famous by Lewis Farrakhan. Life as a conspiracy nut is certainly interesting…..
