Oh man…this is just so….awesome! Combine a thick European accent mumbling about “Sometimes, people make a war,” with shouts out to Tupac Shakur and you can’t go wrong.
Beatles Tube brings nearly all of The Beatles songs together on one site. You can watch music videos and live performances of The Beatles music, with lyrics included as well as background info.
Check out a live performance of “Act Naturally” from The Beatles performance on The Ed Sullivan Show from 1965.
Jack White is a busy man. Beside playing in both The White Stripes and The Raconteurs, White is now drumming and singing backup for a new band, The Dead Weather. The Dead Weather also features Alison Mosshart of The Kills on vocals, Jack Lawrence from The Raconteurs on bass, Dean Fertita from Queens of the Stone Age, and Jack White on the drums!
Bump is a 4-piece band from the Detroit area. In addition to producing great music, they’ve also come out with one of the best music videos I’ve seen. The entire video is one-shot filmed and produced by Grand Rapids, Michigan’s Fulvew Productions. Kudos to Fulvew as this is the best one-shot sequence I’ve seen in quite some time.
Here’s a pretty good one. Tori Amos covering Fleetwood Mac’s “Landslide.” Far superior to The Smashing Pumpkins version released in 1994…and hey, I like the Pumpkins, too.
**Bonus** I love Tori’s cover of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” too. Check it out.
