“Out of Reach” by Bump. The Sweetest One-Shot Video You’ll See for a Very Long Time.

February 15, 2009

Bump is a 4-piece band from the Detroit area.  In addition to producing great music, they’ve also come out with one of the best music videos I’ve seen.  The entire video is one-shot filmed and produced by Grand Rapids, Michigan’s Fulvew Productions.  Kudos to Fulvew as this is the best one-shot sequence I’ve seen in quite some time.

Find out more about Bump at their official website.

“Say it to Me Now” by Glen Hansard-Bonus update: “Falling Slowly” by Hansard and Marketa Irglova

January 27, 2009

“Say it to Me Now” is featured in one of the opening sequences of one of the Chum Master’s favorite movies, Once.  I generally hate musicals, but Once was so good I didn’t really notice it was a musical.  The WHOLE FREAKING SOUNDTRACK IS GREAT!  Wow….sorry, got a little carried away.

**Update**

I had to put up the song “Falling Slowly,” also from the film.  Simply beautiful.

Video Wars: “Why Must I Cry?” by Reh Dogg

January 6, 2009

Video Wars is coming at you with no mercy in the ’09.  The first attack of 2009, courtesy of Reh Dogg.  I’m not sure what this song is about…but, before you criticize the vocals, ponder the sentiment of lyricist and performer, Reh Dogg:

This song is highly emotional and it’s not about how well the singer is it’s about expression of hard times.

Happy New Year, Jon.
