Meet Nanang, 30, and Bambang, 40, two Indonesian men who were tricked into getting dragons tattooed on their faces. The two men were told by their village chief Sawiyono that he received a text message from a government official offering them work as Jakarta intelligence officers. One of the conditions of employment was, you guessed it, getting their faces inked. The result is below.
The village chief eventually realized it was a hoax and has offered to help the men have the tattoos removed. The person behind the hoax is believed to have been a “mystic” as the men said they felt “half-conscious” while getting the tattoos. Apparently, the Indonesian word for liquor store clerk is slightly different than it is here in the U.S.
