Disturbing is the first adjective that comes to mind watching this commercial for Quiznos “Toasty Torpedo.”  Watch the Quiznos employee glance when he answers the oven’s first question.

No McNuggets? Surely that’s a reason to call 911.

March 5, 2009

<sighs>

“I called 911 because I couldn’t get a refund, and I wanted my McNuggets,” according to the below Fort Pierce Police Department report. That logic, however, did not keep cops from citing Goodman for misusing the 911 system. Even after being issued a misdemeanor citation, Goodman contended, “this is an emergency, my McNuggets are an emergency.”

Listen to the 911 calls below.

Burger King employee bathes in restaurant sink. Filmed to prove that Burger King employees actually bathe.

August 12, 2008

(I worked at a fast food spot in college, so ease up BK employees, I know not all of you are dirty)

Xenia, Ohio-somewhere near Dayton-The above gent, described as “Mr. Unstable”, starred in a video featured on MySpace where he bathes nude in a Burger King sink. Fear not, he didn’t capture the action on a tripod, several coworkers, including a manager watched the spectacle. The local health inspector, and BK Corporate, are not amused. Check out the reaction of disgusted customers. If they’re this upset about this incident they’d freak if they knew the other things that go on at a fast food chain.

“Burger King Corp. was just notified of this incident and is cooperating fully with the health department. We have sanitized the sink and have disposed of all other kitchen tools and utensils that were used during the incident.
We have also taken appropriate corrective action on the employees that were involved in this video. Additionally, the remaining staff at this restaurant is being retrained in health and sanitation procedures.”

50 Cent to Taco Bell: I’ll bust your shell, muthaf**kers!

June 20, 2008

Rap superstar 50 CENT is outraged by fast food company Taco Bell’s “sleazy” bid to land him for an advertising campaign, and is threatening legal action.

The firm offered to make a $10,000 (GBP5,000) donation to a charity of 50 Cent’s choice if he agreed to change his name for one day. They stipulated he must stop by one of the chain’s restaurants and rap his order at the drive-thru window – using a new moniker: 79 Cent, 89 Cent or 99 Cent.

But the star is not amused. A rep tells OK! magazine, “This is a sleazy and ill-conceived publicity stunt by Taco Bell’s president, Greg Creed, whose disingenuous offer was leaked to the press before it was even presented to 50 Cent’s agent yesterday.”

And 50 Cent himself warns, “When my legal team is finished with them, Taco Bell is going to have a new corporate slogan: ‘We messed with the bull and got the horns!'”
