June 30, 2009Comfort Wipe-a modern solution to “archaic” toilet paper
June 16, 2009How on earth have we survived all these 1000’s of years without the Comfort Wipe? I wish this was a spoof.
Norton Furniture: providing you with credit AND trippy commercials
May 18, 2009I laughed..and then I started to feel a bit uncomfortable.
Kids atv-24 volts of POWER!
April 7, 2009Kind of funny. If only the boy was wearing a wife beater and the girl had a terrible bleach job showing her roots. Then it would have truly captured the spirit of power machines……or my family reunion.
Thanks to Pye for this one. He claimed he hated the commercial but it was only because he’s too big to fit into the mini-vehicle he bought….

February 26, 2009One of the most effective advertisements I’ve seen. Very funny.
Mighty Putty Dub
February 12, 2009A nice reworking of a Billy Mays “Mighty Putty” commercial. A few NSFW words.

Axe Dark Temptation Spray Deodorant Ad Banned in India
September 9, 2008The Indian government has banned a new television ad for Axe Body Spray. The commercial for the new Axe scent, Dark Temptation, features a man turning into solid chocolate and being, literally, pecked at by various women. India’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting pulled the ad after receiving a complaint from a viewer. Check out the ad and judge for yourself.
10 Totally Rad 80’s commercials
August 7, 2008“Gravel” music video by Orba Squara
May 31, 2008Orba Squara will probably sound familiar to you if you’ve seen the original iPhone commercial or the TV ad for Flat Earth Chips. Smaller bands are able to make some decent money by licensing their songs to commercials. Lest anyone utter the word sell-out, realize that not only does the band get paid for the commercial, but it also exposes their songs to a far larger audience than they’d probably reached before. (well, the Led Zeppelin Cadillac commercial doesn’t count). My daughter would start dancing whenever she saw the Flat Earth Chips commercial, so I looked it up and got the album for her. Anyway, enjoy the video to “Gravel” from Orba Squara’s “Sunshyness” album.
