Holy crap…my childhood is in a standoff at San Diego Comic Con 2008

Yeah, that’s flippin’ Bumblebee in a standoff with Cobra soldiers.  This is kind of a tough one to call as they’re both manufactured in Japan, so they probably are equally as durable, and last twice as long as American toys.  Anyway, that is an actual Bumblebee costume constructed by a fan for San Diego’s Comic Con 2008.  Nicely done.  Another pic. below.

Epic stop motion-you can’t go wrong with good music, GI Joes, and a tribute to John Carpenter’s “The Thing”

This is probably the best stop motion photography I’ve seen in quite some time. Filmed so well, with good use of camera angles, not just another “hey, it’s stop motion so we’ll forget about how to frame a shot” number. Seriously…you better watch this.
