Liam Gallagher gets jacked from behind by a fan during the band’s performance at Toronto’s Virgin Music Festival. I’m not a fan of the Gallagher brothers and they’re big mouths, but this was out of line. This could’ve turned out much worse.

I thought the singer was the one everybody wanted to punch, no?

Wow, that security guy was quick to catch the culprit. I also love how you can hear the guitar fade slowly after the guitar player gets whacked…

Yeah, I figured it would’ve been the singer, too, but I think the guitarist has popped off about plenty of stuff, too. Course, a guy that would hop on stage like that might not necessarily be thinking too clearly.

I once saw an Oasis concert at the Orbit Room in Grand rapids where an unimpressed member of the audience threw his shoe at Liam – hit the guy right in the head and knocked the microphone out of his hand. Great stuff – you gotta admire a guy who wants to show his displeasure enough that he’s willing to go home with one shoe.
