Worst pop songs of all time

These lists are so easy to mock…always subjective, but very fun anyway.  There could stand to be some more songs from the 70’s on here…..From Contact Music

1. Who Let The Dogs Out – Baha Men-ok, yeah, this song did drive me crazy
2. Ice, Ice Baby – Vanilla Ice-Yeah, I danced to this song. Badly, but it was still a lot of fun. What was even funnier was that Vanilla claimed “Ice” wasn’t using a sample from David Bowie and Queen’s “Under Pressure.”
3. She Bangs – Ricky Martin-if it weren’t for this song, William Hung would’ve missed out on his 15 minutes of American Idol fame.
4. Barbie Girl – Aqua-Huh…..not much to say about this.
5. U Can’t Touch This – MC Hammer-Seriously, who didn’t like this song?
6. I Am Woman – Helen Redey-Drawing a blank.
7. I’m Too Sexy – Right Said Fred-Bloody miserable…..and, like so many of these songs, carried on long after the song faded on key chains, tshirts, etc.
8. Ebony And Ivory – Paul MCCartney And Stevie Wonder-“Rob, top five musical crimes perpetuated by Stevie Wonder in the ’80s and ’90s. Go. Sub-question: is it in fact unfair to criticize a formerly great artist for his latter day sins, is it better to burn out or fade away?”-Jack Black in High Fidelity
9. MACarena – Los Del Rio-I worked at Best Buy in the cd section when this song came out.  Not a fun time, particularly when the middle-aged women came in looking for this cd and would do the dance when they couldn’t think of the name.  (shudders)
10. My Heart Will Go On – Celine Dion-Now this is something.  Celine’s rendition of AC/DC’s “You Shook Me” was also listed as worst cover song of all time.  She’s a glory hog.  That rendition is so bad, I have to show you.  Look into her eyes and be transfixed……

Ick! Her air guitar was terrible. It WAS pretty amazing that she could do that rock-n-roll one-legged hop in 3 inch heels.
